(work in progress) The MIV frameork is in a beta state, we will not release it for real until Q1 2027. But it is already fully operational, and you can start using it right now.

MIV is a framework designed to build all sorts of applications, particularly those that would otherwise store their data in a database, or in local files on the user's machine.

It has a Server side, and a Client side. The Server can run locally for standalone apps.

The Server exists only in C#, while the Client exists in both C# (to build applications with WPF or Avalonia) and TypeScript (to build websites with HTML/CSS).

What MIV does for you, out of the box

• You won't have to write glue code with TCP, Websockets or SignalR everly time you need live updates.
